data point the more that we understand who the viewer is or who they can be will make the biggest difference in our audience development growth for our channel for the visibility of our videos so you want to follow the viewer because I’m here to tell you that the AI is so obsessed with the viewer and what the viewer will do next then when you can get in that head or you have strategies of how to help the AI learn what to see next and to be able to follow the viewer you’re able to succeed now like I said I was really excited about the the funnel that YouTube like seriously it was a game changer for me because we were only hypothetically estimating what the impression race is so I want to talk to you what about it what an impression is when you when you see a video and it’s and it’s basically seen on a screen for at least one second that is an impression now keep in mind I want you to keep in mind that it’s only coming from the app it’s not coming from external sources or it’s not even coming from YouTube notifications okay so it’s only in app so it could be in the your subscription feed it could be on the home page it could be on trending wherever that video shows up that is an impression now it’s really important to understand when the video shows up and no one clicks on it that’s a very bad thing so we want to look at the next metric which is this percentage right here everyone looks over for through it and don’t really understand this but this is the number that is the golden number for you to really look at this is the percentage of how much YouTube actually loves your content and when I say YouTube loves your content it’s actually the viewers that love your content because the more that the viewer loves your content the more that YouTube’s actually going to recommend it out there and so that percentage right there is the number one thing that I really focus and care about is how can we get that to be higher how can we make that percentage higher what can we do what strategies can we take what small little tweaks on the channel on our playlist strategy our content strategy that we can make this happen it all comes back down to really having a desire to increase suggestions through your videos now I know that there are channels out there that get a lot of views that you’re a resource channel and it’s one help people type in how to do things and you’re helping them but I’m here to tell you that YouTube will also promote you and it should be your number one traffic source for your channel if you want to see massive growth suggested traffic should be your number one and browse features should be number two okay that means YouTube really really likes you now when that happens we’re looking at this and we want to increase it we want to make sure to explodes we want to get it as high as we possibly can how would we do it step one this is how you do it make clickable titles now I was just talking with a content creator yesterday here that you guys don’t even know he’s here almost ten million subscribers hundreds of millions of views a month and I I asked them about his titling because honestly his titles are so clickable every time I see his thumbnails and titles I just need to watch the video and it’s that good and I asked how much time and he’s like I spend a lot of time on my titling a lot of time and I would say whatever you’re doing spend 3x more time on your title research now when we do ad campaigns when we were doing squatty potty we were test we were split testing we want a data we wanted to know what would convert the highest we we actually spent money on ads just to see what the witch title was the most effective we do it still today if we have a big campaign we have a big video going out throw like 20 bucks behind it and you can figure out what’s gonna convert higher but we want to understand what will work step to make thumbnails safe have you ever heard that before make thumbnails safe person is who the model is hamburger American cuisines United States of America Carl’s jr.

there was no Carl’s jr. anything there whoa okay now here’s what’s better we go down it keeps on going Hardy is because Carl’s jr. and Hardee’s it depends what state you’re in we love Carl’s juniors but you know it goes into Sports Illustrated then it goes actually Paige matches now this right here I I truly believe that there is false positives on a lot of videos because what I’m going to show you next okay which is pages with matched images SafeSearch this is what everyone should click on right here because what what what CeeLo was saying about swearing Google Google visions telling you about safe search check this out look where it’s at racy very likely what happens when it’s racy and very likely I’m here to tell you restricted mode okay there’s a lot of youtubers right now that have reached out to me first part of June and it’s really hitting quite a bit and they can’t figure out why they’re there channels just tanking you need to find out which videos are restricted because you have a restricted problem because you have images that are being flagged by YouTube and it’s stopping your growth is stopping your suggestions because as soon as something’s restricted it doesn’t get any views guys it’s like like you have to be logged in they have to say okay you know we can see that type of content and that’s a very small number of people actually getting views from there okay – Okay, back to content.

Hamburger, American cuisine, United States of America, Carl’s Jr. There is no Carl’s Jr. anything there. Wow okay, here’s what is better we go down it keeps on going, Hardee’s because Carl’s Jr.

And it’s really hitting quite a bite, and they can’t figure out why their channels just tanking. You need to find out which videos are restricted, ’cause you have a restricted problem.
